We are pleased to launch the extensive solar installation of 201 “SunPower” solar panels which will generate over 60kW of clean, green energy and is one of five iconic installations of the Perth Solar City Consortium – part of the Australian Government’s $94m Solar Cities program.

The solar system is the biggest in the Eastern Corridor and will be used to power Midland Atelier: WA’s first integrated design and creative industries centre, located in the heart of the Railway Workshops. Together, the Midland Redevelopment Authority and FORM are bringing life to the Workshops once again, fusing the site’s skilled heritage with the creative minds and sustainable technologies of the future.
